The temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia are astonishing. The site is huge, and there is something extraordinary to see around every corner. As Cambodia's main money spinner, it sometimes feels as though Angkor is a victim of its own success, though, with the main buildings often crowded with people. There are equally fascinating outlying temples, thankfully. Venture a little further afield, and you can have a quieter adventure! Just don't all go at once.
